Yesterday someone asked for information
about Moxie's breeder and that we pass it along to you to pass to them.
Pleasant Ridge Kennels in Centerville is where Moxie was born. Mary Keeling is the breeder there.
Moxie is just the best, as you all know, and we attribute that to Mary and to you all.
There is a website for Pleasant Ridge Kennels, www.Pleasantridgekennels.com, and Mary's contact information is there.
Her phone number is (936)714-3743. We are happy to share any other information with those
inquiring about Moxie and our great experience with Mary. Feel free to give out this email if you wish as our contact information.
Take care and have a great weekend.
Sara is doing very well. She is so very sweet.
She wants to be
held all the time. I just love her. Bentley ate dinner better than
he ever has before because she was eating her dinner. Bentley
is playing a little rough with her though. At first he just kissed
and kissed on her in the car, then when we got home, he started
playing rough. We may have to separate them some at first so
they can both rest. I think I left her shot record at your house.
I will check the car again tomorrow. If you have it, will you fax
it to me or mail it to me. I won't need it until Dec 6th.
Thank you again so much. We just love them both.
This is the cutest, sweetest baby boy. We
still don't have
a name. He and Sammy are getting along great. He
wouldn't eat the Little Caesars out of the bowl. He
will only eat it if I put it on my fingers. Maybe it's
just because he is distracted with everything that's
new. On the instructions, you say after he eats the
Little Caesars to give 4-5 pieces of moist and
meaty. I don't know what you mean by moist
and meaty. Either we didn't talk about this or
I just don't remember what that is. We haven't
had any problems. He has been going on the
puppy pee pads every time. He likes to sleep
in the play pen or he just sleeps while I'm holding
him. I'm going to put the play pen by my bed
and see if he will sleep in it tonight. If not, I will
put him on my pillow. Thank you for the detailed
instructions. They really helped get us off to a
great start. Let me know how Sara is doing.
We hope she improves soon.
Good Morning Mary, Just thought I would check in with you to report on how wonderful Roxy is doing. She is the best dog ever! She sleeps through the night in her kennel, which is large enough for a pee pee pad,her food, bed and play room. Our living room took a space hit moving it in, but we are happy to have it front and center. She eats very well and no longer gets car sick... she will even go potty in the truck now! She is potty trained with only one accident this week! She goes to one of 3 private areas to do her business without our assistance now! We got a sound machine so she doesn't wake up when our neighbor comes home. She is very alert and reacts when she hears Phillip coming towards the door! She also responds to her name regularly... so smart. Phillip was in the elevator with her Friday and a "big burly firefighter" would not let him go until he came to his loft to show Roxy to his wife! They are looking for a Yorkie puppy. We are going to invite them over to our loft and will give them your contact info. I think I emailed you that we took her to the vet and everything is perfect... but just in case I didn't... I have attached couple pics for you! Take care Darcie
Rigby is doing great with me up at school. He is learning so fast and everyone who sees him absolutely
loves him.He has so much personality for such a little fellow! We went to the vet yesterday
for the rest of hispuppy shots and they said he is very healthy and doing great, he weighed
2 lbs even. Just wanted to keep you updated on him! Hope everything is going great for you!! Christine Kingwood, Texas
Mary- I can not begin to tell you what a beautiful little puppy Gracie has turned out to be! She is loving her new big brothers. She seems to like to nap in their beds instead of hers! She is precious and everyone that sees her adores her and remarks on what a good looking yorkie she is and will grow up to be. As I said to you at your house the day I picked her up...they always say to ask your breeder what they are breeding for, and even before I asked, you told me. That made me feel very comfortable with you and confirm that you do this as a love of the breed as well. You have done a wonderful job in getting beautiful yorkies and making this breed proud! Thanks again to you and your husband for your kindness and raising such beautiful puppies! I plan on telling anyone who is looking for a yorkie that I have the perfect place. We will stay in touch and send updated pictures of Gracie! Sincerely, Nancy and Ray M------- Austin, Texas
Here is a couple of pictures taken Easter Sunday. You should have a "new
owner comments" section on your website
so happy customers like me can post comments about our experience with you and our new puppies.
I couldn't tell you how many times I have given your website out to people.
(Mother of Cassie & Sassy)
I want to thank you so much for making our family so happy (times
three!!) As you know, we bought our first little bundle of joy
and he really did something to my family. We was so sweet and had such a dynamic personality.
We loved him so much that we felt he needed a friend so we then bought “Sassy.” They immediately fell in love with each other,
and we fell in love with them even more. These dogs were not only the picture of perfect health, they are smart, inquisitive,
loving and just completed our family. As you know, we lost Charlie due to a tragic accident and I
thought I would never feel the same again. Our family still mourns his death. Sassy mourned for days as well.
At that time, you did not have any males available so I opted to buy another male from someone else.
Even though I love “Jake” he just isn’t the quality dog that you breed. We love your dogs so much that within a month
of purchasing “Jake”, we added another female to our bunch. We purchased “Cassie” from you and
believe it or not, she reminds me so much of Charlie.
I cannot imagine ever purchasing another dog from anyone but you.
Thank you for the care and devotion
you put into breeding such a top quality dog like your Yorkies.
Thanks for your time! when do you think they will be born?
also, who are the parents? I really want to buy a yorkie from you because
I have been extremely pleased with the one we bought from you,
so if possible I would love to buy a little girl from you. thanks again
(Mother of Phoebe and Trevor)

Thank you so much for our little Sterling. We think he is too cute and so much
of a cuddler.
> He eats just fine (he only ate the canned) and he plays so cute. He is now
tired and asleep. We will keep in touch. I just wanted to thank you again!

"Mary Keeling of Pleasant Ridge Kennels is a delight to work with to
adopt your new dog. We adopted our Boston Terrier in February 2007 and
have been more than happy with him since. The puppies she breeds are
done so carefully, creating a good overall dog for anyone to bring home.
He is smart, clever and well tempered, all wonderful traits passed down
from his excellent parents.
We greatly appreciate the addition to our lives; Ajax has been a
wonderful asset to our family. No question; we will adopt our next
Boston from Mary, wherever in the country we may live at the time,
Pleasant Ridge Kennels will get the phone call.
Thank you Pleasant Ridge Kennels for bringing joy to our lives.
Kelly & Michael
Proud parents of Ajax"
I wanted to send you a quick update and picture. Today Diesel is 1 year old and a whopping 3.1 lbs. It has been quite a year for all of us.
As you probably remember, Diesel came to join our family late last October. We just loved to watch him grow.
He was a fat little boy when we got him and I really thought he would be at least 4lbs by now but I guess he got more of Prowler's smaller genes.
Trevor and I got married April 30th and our family moved to Los Angeles in June. Diesel loves it here but due to the hot weather and
AC we have to keep his hair cut short like when he was a puppy. I hope you enjoy the picture. Thanks for everything.
I tell everyone who asks what a great experience we had with you and how good you are to your little ones.
Just wanted to thank you again for our little baby
Frank. We are having so much fun and are absolutely
crazy about him as is everyone who meets him. The vet
said he has such a great temperment and must have been
raised right so thanks!
Attaching a picture, he's growing up so fast!

Mary,Pam my wife was floored when I brought Cloie in this morning. She never suspected I would get her a Dog again so soon.
She really missed our little buttons that we lost in the hurricane Wilma. Cloie was the hit of the day, our neighbor who kept her
hidden for three days said she hated to give her up. She was so sweet. My son Mike loves her as well as all the family that
visted us for Christmas. She seems like she will be very easy to house break, and train. Thanks for your concern on her safe
arrival, I guess every pup you adopt out tears your heart a little. I will send the paper work out to you this week. Jim
I just wanted to let you know how well Bailey is doing and thank you for the
wonderful job you did with him. I have attached a picture of him now-
hopefully it works.
Bailey is just the sweetest puppy. He is incredibly smart and loving. He
still sleeps in my bed and loves sitting in my lap- but he is a little
rascal too. I am taking him to training classes early January. Bailey's back
legs are incredibly strong (he can jump really high and walk around on
them.) Everyone comments on how perky and large his ears are too. Anyways,
the main point is that I love him.
Sorry I haven't sent you the vet sheet yet on his being neutered. I have
been really busy. I will try to get to it early next year. Thanks again for
Hi Mary, I haven't forgotten you just been busy with life..... Anyway the puppies are doing just fine.
Gracie is in photo 1 & 3...George in 2 & 4. George is getting big...out weights Gracie by about 4 #'s.
They come up with something new each day, but needless to say they are inseparable.
Thanks for such nice Boston's,
Thank you so much for letting us bring him home. We will make sure he gets his rest and is taking care of.
Bailey gets neutered Tuesday morning and I am so nervous about it. He is momma's baby and I hate the thought
of him being cut on. I am glad that Brian will be able to spend time with the both of them before he leaves on Thursday.
We are thinking about naming the new baby Barnum. I know that sounds strange but then we will have
"Barnum and Bailey". We are not worried about the names that they use for AKC purposes as we are not
going to breed them. They are part of our family and we love them very much.
We will bring the cash and Bailey on Sunday around 2:30.
Thanks and have a great weekend!!!
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I just got home on Saturday. Paris is the most beautiful
Yorkie I've ever seen. She took to me right away and we haven't been separated since. I think it
was hard for Mary and Johnny to let her go, but they knew they couldn't do it twice. I fell in love
with her the minute I saw her.
Thank you so much and I will keep you posted. One quick question. Are your Yorkies
on Heart / Worm medicine? If so, what do you suggest?
He is doing fine. He is happy. I gave him the dry puppy food with a little wet science diet last night,
and he did great. He slept quietly through the night in his crate. I let him out this morning and he got
to play with the other puppies ( pug, and a min pin) my kids, and found a surreget mom
(Chloe, my pug that had pups 9 weeks ago). He has delt with the transition very nicely, as a
matter of fact I cannot remember getting a puppy that has been this adaptable. It is nap time now,
and he whinned a little at first but he settled down quickly. I think he whinned because I
changed his crate and am washing his towel, so now he has to get used to a new bigger crate and
a round plush bed, POOR HIM! I will keep you posted, and send you pictures, I took some last
night but they didn't come out very good, cause I took them from a distance because everytime
I tried to get close he would see me and run up to the camera. But I will get some good ones and
send them to you. Thank you very much, he is exactly what I was looking for! Jenn
The vet said that Tax Man was just fine. He agreed with your schedule of
shots and is going to give him his rabies shots next time as well. Tax Man
is doing wonderful at home. I just taught him to play fetch and he loves
playing with his little green elephant. Everyone who has seen him tells me
he is the cutest pup ever. Thanks for all your help with him-Laurie
He is doing wonderful! We love him so much. He sleeps in bed with us and is pretty much house broken. He is the best pup ever! Thank you so much. I need to get you some pictures although he still looks the same. I don't think he has grown much.
will watch for the papers! Yes, he is doing fine. He is very active and seems happy. It is funny to watch how such
a little dog thinks he is big. He has such personality. He loves to snuggle on me and does well riding in the car
snuggled up on my side. He still has not understood the time change (smile). I just love him!
I got him some sweaters to keep warm and he does not appreciate them one bit.
He does not have a clue how adorable he is.
I will let you know when I receive the paperwork. Thanks again – Marie
